The X-Line and X-Pro are off-road-oriented configurations that were added to the Telluride lineup for the 2023 model year and which are available to our customers for the 2024 model as well. You’ll often see them presented as trim levels, such as the SX Prestige X-Pro, but they are essentially add-ons that expand the feature set of a preexisting trim level. Many of Kia’s competitors opt for standalone and dedicated off-road trims, and we think the Kia approach is better because it’s clearer and more convenient for the customer shopping these options.

The X-Line configuration is available through Ken Ganley Kia Boardman with the EX, SX, and SX Prestige trim levels. If you opt for the EX X-Line, for instance, it will have all of the features the standard EX model does, such as genuine leather upholstery and front seats that are heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable. The main difference is that all-wheel drive will be included rather than offered as an option. The X-Line package also adds an enhanced traction control system and a lifted suspension that increases ground clearance to 8.4 inches. You also get special 20-inch wheels, an X-specific grille design, and taller roof rails.

The X-Pro is essentially a more advanced version of the X-Line but is only available with the SX and SX Prestige trim levels. It includes everything in the X-Line package where applicable. It does have 18-inch wheels for better off-road performance, and it has an off-road-tuned suspension. It also adds a 110-volt household-style power outlet in the cargo area. The SX Prestige already includes that feature, but the addition is notable if you opt for the SX. Another important difference is that the X-Pro can tow up to 5,500 pounds if you opt for the Class III trailer package. That option is available with the EX and up, including the non-X versions, but those models are limited to towing 5,000 pounds. Visit us near Youngstown OH.
